godbathing.com (the “Site”) and the Godbathing™ programs offered through it are a vision of The Portfolio Group, Inc. (“The Portfolio Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the corporate legal entity that owns and operates the Site. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are between you and The Portfolio Group, Inc. and govern your use of the Site and your purchase of and participation in our programs offered through the Site or linked registration pages (such as Eventbrite).

By using the Site or registering for a program, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or register.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Site and register for programs. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. The programs: educational, not medical care

Godbathing™ is an educational and spiritual‑wellness program. It is not medical care, psychotherapy, counseling, or crisis intervention, and it is not a substitute for professional advice or treatment. If you are experiencing an acute crisis, or may harm yourself or others, seek immediate professional help or emergency services. Participation is voluntary and at your own discretion.

3. Registration, pricing, and payment

Program dates, pricing, seat limits, and inclusions are described on the registration page at the time of purchase. Founding‑cohort pricing and capacity apply as stated at checkout, and standard pricing may apply afterward. Prices may change prospectively; the price in effect when you register applies to that purchase. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. Payment and registration are processed by third‑party providers (such as Eventbrite and payment processors), and your purchase is also subject to their terms.

4. Refunds

You may request a full refund within 7 days of the first session, no questions asked. Refund requests are handled according to the policy shown at checkout and processed through our registration provider. To request a refund, send us a message and choose “Refund request.”

5. Communications

By registering or providing your contact information, you agree to receive program‑related communications from us electronically. Where you opt in, we may also send marketing messages; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us. Message and data rates may apply to any text messages you opt into.

6. Acceptable use and conduct

You agree to participate respectfully, to not harass or harm other participants, and to not misuse program materials or the Site. We may remove or suspend any participant who violates these expectations or applicable law, without refund where permitted by our refund policy and applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

The Site and all program content, guides, tools, and materials are owned by The Portfolio Group, Inc. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual‑property laws. “Godbathing™” and related marks are trademarks of The Portfolio Group, Inc. We grant you a personal, limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use materials provided to you for your own practice. You may not record, copy, resell, publish, or redistribute session content or materials without our prior written permission.

8. Feedback and testimonials

If you provide feedback, reviews, or testimonials, you grant us a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display them in connection with promoting the programs. We will not publish your full name without your permission, and session recordings are edited to remove names and faces before any public use, as described in our Privacy Policy and program materials.

9. Third‑party services

The Site relies on and links to third‑party services (including Eventbrite, payment processors, and video‑conferencing tools). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

10. Disclaimers

The Site and programs are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not guarantee any specific spiritual, emotional, psychological, or health outcome, and individual experiences vary.

11. Assumption of risk

You acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that you are responsible for your own wellbeing and decisions during and after the program. You agree to consult a qualified professional for medical or mental‑health concerns.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Portfolio Group, Inc. and its officers, instructors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Site or participation in a Godbathing™ program. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the program giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Portfolio Group, Inc. from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or Godbathing™ programs or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Dispute resolution and governing law

Before filing a claim, you agree to first send us a message so we can try to resolve the matter informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which The Portfolio Group, Inc. is organized, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules. You agree that any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in that state, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms or the Site at any time. Changes are effective when posted, and your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we make changes.

16. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a business transfer. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any checkout terms, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and programs.
